Start Where You Are

Not Where Someone Else Is

Come to class with the tools you have at hand. If you have the money and want to buy props go ahead. I highly recommend items you think you will reach out for during class and use. Don’t buy it for Instagram purposes though. If stairs are hard on your knees, use a chair – that’s a tool, not a crutch. I use blocks, a strap, a regular pillow you would find at any home, and I add to my collection as I go.

If you plan on doing classes like Restorative there are generally a lot of props involved but the regular classes tend to use very little if any props. You can get by with things found around the house. As you go along you will learn what items you may want to keep near your practice space. However, to start off your practice you don’t need to buy anything. I recommend having a regular throw blanket and everyday pillow nearby in case you find it handy (especially if you have sensitive knees like me) but you don’t need even that.

Meet Your Goals

I believe you can make a routine as hard or easy as you need it to be. We aren’t working out to fit an image. At Reflective Wolf Yoga, working out is discovering the edge and gently pushing the limits out to find more breathing space for the day.

I give cues at what people might call “beginner level” and offer modifications to lower or up the ante. Most of our classes are offered virtually, which means you’re going to be working at home and no one is going to be seeing you. So drop the judgments they are only serving to hold you back.

Allow yourself to take any steps back in order to find what truly propels you forwards. That is what I learned at Treehouse Yoga Studio in Bay St. Louis, MS. They taught me to find my 10% working capacity first in order to find *my* 100%, not someone else’s 100%.

No matter your fitness level we have a group fitness class that will help you reach your goals!

What We Offer?

A Positive Space

I am looking to create videos and have some live virtual class where we work on breathing techniques, meditation, and gentle poses. Sometimes I will offer live in-person practices. In-person classes will be based on demand and other factors life throughs my way.

I am honored to have found some people here in Lakewood, Colorado who would like to do in-person – yet socially distant practicing in Bear Creek Greenspace. For anyone in the area, you are welcome to join us. Contact me for more information on how to meet up and current pricing.
